Consultation: Research Proposals

GeCo advises researchers in (prospective) Collaborative Research Projects on how to apply for and implement DFG-funds earmarked for gender equality and family-friendliness. At the centre of our support – in accordance with the DFG guidelines – is the idea that the promotion of women in science and diversity are important quality criteria for excellent research.

GeCo also advises you in the context of your presentation of the equal opportunity concept and measures in preparation for the DFG’s review and assessment (Begehung).

Roadmapping

In cooperation with the respective research projects, GeCo develops equal opportunity measures such as workshops, trainings etc. that are funded via participating projects’ pooled funds. Research alliances can apply for these funds.

Implementation

GeCo supports the research project coordinators throughout the implementation process of the programme’s equal opportunities measures.

Our primary objective is to improve the quality and competitiveness of each and every research project. Monitoring activities can help you to measure and visualize your success.
