Caroline von Humboldt Prize

The Caroline von Humboldt Prize is the first award at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin that is exclusively awarded to women. It was inaugurated in 2010 and is one of the best-endowed prizes of its kind. The award enhances the recipient’s reputation and facilitates the strengthening and expansion of her research projects.

Entrants can be nominated by professors from universities and external research institutions in Germany and beyond. The prize money should enable the winner to carry out a research project at Humboldt-Universität (“Scientist in Residence”).
