Corinna Coupette awarded the Caroline von Humboldt Award 2023
The Caroline von Humboldt Award 2022 was presented to Dr. Corinna Coupette at the Caroline von Humboldt Award Ceremony on November 16, 2022.
Corinna Coupette, who works at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, impressed the selection committee with her impressive interdisciplinarity. Her dual specialization in the fields of law and computer science, a rare and challenging combination, as well as her highly regarded publications in both subjects stood out in particular. These form the basis of her groundbreaking research in the field of legal network research, which formulates a major methodological advance in a data-driven approach. Supported by the Caroline von Humboldt Award, Corinna Coupette will be "Scientist in Residence" at the Faculty of Law of the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2023.
The ceremony was opened by introductory words from the President of Humboldt University, Prof. Dr. Julia von Blumenthal. After the laudatory speech, which was held by Dirk Hartung in place of Prof. Dr. Boele Woelki, Dr. Coupette was presented with the Caroline von Humboldt Award by Prof. Dr. Christoph Schneider in his role as Chair of the Cvh Selection Committee. After the award ceremony, a champagne reception was once again held outside the doors of the Senate Hall in honor of the award winners.
