Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - The Central Women's Representative

The legal foundation of the work of Women’s Representatives is §59 of the Berlin Higher Education Law (Berliner Hochschulgesetz (BerlHG)) and the Equal Opportunities Act of the Federal State of Berlin (Landesgleichstellungsgesetz (LGG)).
Since 1992, all universities and universities of applied sciences are required by law to appoint a Women’s Representative, who is work towards an implementation of equal opportunities in research and teaching at public higher education institutions in Berlin.
