Ceremony 2015
On 1 December 2015, the Systems Biologist Prof Dr Edda Klipp was awarded the fourth Caroline von Humboldt Professorship.
Edda Klipp has worked as professor for Theoretical Biophysics at the Institute of Biology, HU Berlin, where she also studied Biophysics, completed her PhD and spent a part of her postdoc time. In the following, the Systems Biologist acted as head of the Independent Junior Research Group “Kinetic Modelling” as well as the research group “Computational Systems Biology” at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin. She is the speaker of the DFG Research Training Group (Graduiertenkolleg) „Computational Systems Biology“ and an associate in a number of different research alliances funded by the EU, BMBF (German Federal Ministry for Education and Research) and DFG.
