If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Visionary, trailblazer, expert
What words do you most associate with founding?
Creation, courage, adventure, but also isolation, hard priorities, rollercoaster.
What is your biggest motivation to be a mentor?
I have founded quite a few things in my career so far: A family business for occupational medicine, a student organisation for AI in medicine, a coaching and consulting agency for mental health in the workplace. Yet I have had little direct support in my environment and have often felt isolated. It is challenging to find true allies as a founder. For myself, it has been good to have a fantastic mentor who is happy to share her expertise, open up her network, understand my thoughts and feelings and not declare me crazy when I share my big visions with her: That's exactly what I now want to offer young female founders myself.

I have never founded a company myself, but I know how to work with start-ups from a corporate perspective and I know what people are looking for.

What is your biggest motivation to be a mentor?
Diverse perspectives lead to better results. I believe in the power of a strong network that develops impulses, ideas and solution approaches collaboratively. I have met many exciting female role models, but also some "queen bees" who only cared about their own well-being.
I want to show my mentee a realistic and inspirational picture of the entrepreneurial world, so that she understands that fear is always followed by courage and that one's own competence, team and network will catch up with one.

What is your biggest motivation to be a mentor?
Too few women still dare to become self-employed. Often there is a lack of self-confidence - but above all there is a lack of support from women for women. That's why I want to support young female entrepreneurs and pass on the valuable experience, expert knowledge and helpful tips I have gathered on my way to becoming an entrepreneur. Independence. Flexibility. courage. vision. Drive.
What is your biggest motivation to be a mentor?
I had very strong mentors myself (yes, exactly: only men). But there are topics where I would have liked a female perspective (authenticity, self-confidence, setting limits). That's why I now accompany other women a bit on their way - into founding their own company or even during a reorientation in their professional environment. I bring clarity to some "tricky" situations, scare away the inner censor (as best I can) and am happy when I can encourage and give confidence, but also give very practical help. My motto: There is always a way!

What is your biggest motivation for being a mentor?
Just as it is existentially important later on as an entrepreneur to have a good network (of customers, of course, but also of partners and multipliers), you benefit enormously from mentoring in the start-up phase.
The view from the outside - experienced and benevolent, impulse-giving and without competitive thoughts - is irreplaceable.
As a former "Founder of the Month" at the Gründerinnenzentrale here in Berlin, I was also able to win their push-up mentoring program and am now a cooperation partner there.
In this respect, mentoring is not only a real vocation for me as a COACH. As a MENTOR, I love to give back something of what once helped me. And I just LOVE this atmosphere of departure, it's just beautiful!
