"Vorgezogene Nachfolgeberufungen" (VNB) for women

This position describes an early appointment for female professors for a chair that is soon to be vacated. This is one of the impulses created by the federal and state equal opportunities policy. The faculties and institutes need to show that they have a chair that is known to be vacated within a certain period of time. The faculties and institutes can send in concepts for such posts and the university applies for the funding with the Berlin Equal Opportunities Programme for Female Researchers, Artists and Teachers in Higher Education (“Berliner Chancengleichheitsprogramm (BCP)”).
